As the saying goes, “A lake of gold in the desert sand is less than a cool fresh spring and to one lost sheep, a shepherd boy is greater than the richest king,” what is valuable on this earth and what is valuable in the kingdom of heaven are vastly different. The wealth, honor, and power that many people in the world value have no worth in the kingdom of heaven. That is why the saints of the early Church lived for the kingdom of heaven even amid persecution.

In the kingdom of God, the most valuable work is to put God’s word into practice. The members of the Church of God seek even one lost soul with the truth of the new covenant, believing God’s word that they will reign as kings in the kingdom of heaven and shine like the stars for ever and ever.
